They're right. The product did get a bad
reputation a few years ago before the Federal
Housing Administration and HUD stepped in and
redesigned, regulated, and insured the program.
Now Reverse Mortgages have safeguards that
protect the borrower . . . and their heirs. Plus,
there is mandatory counseling required, so the
borrower will fully understand the program and its
usage and benefits. And in addition, I provide
further counseling and education to my clients.
